I joined a topic in the Swedish forum recently (a discussion about tactic improvements) to make it more 'advanced' and tactically challenging. With a couple of neat additions, this can happen. I suggested the following and received positive response among the swedes. Any feedback on this?
To be able to mark your player on the tactic field, click on the wing back for example, and give him individual instructions - pretty much 3 simple options:
- Offensive instruction: Your player will run more along the flank and dare to join the attack in order to make crosses into the box
- Defensive instruction: Your player will be more cautious and mostly strictly stick to his position
- Standard instruction: Your player will evaluate the situation himself whenever there is an opportunity to join the attack, or remain defensive depending on the situation. For this option, the play intelligence will be important in order for your player to evaluate the situation in the most efficient way
This can be done for midfielders and strikers also, obviously. But now that the concept is more clear, is this something you would fancy? Feel free to discuss and/or develop the idea further
