The Best Loyal Player Alive
By held85 - 14-05-2015 06:11
I'm wondering if there is a real cracker out there in the MZ universe among the loyal players - or are they all crap? So which is the best you've seen so far?

When I was NC, I saw loyal player with speed 10, intelligence, passing and shooting 9, stamina and ball control 7. Surely not real cracker, though very solid FW or OM.

thx for your reply. =) so I guess it doesn't make sense to go for the loyal player this time - again! Prove me wrong but the loyal player thing doesn't seem very attractive to me. xD

I was lost at sea for 5 years on a hellish island, but Ozzie Meyers never slept with my girlfriend, my dog or my girlfriends dog in all that time. He was as loyal as they come.
Has to get a new cat though, mine was traumatized as fuck.

wow, Sparnaaij is incredible.
it's almost a shame you can't sell him - he'd surely fetch a pretty penny. of course, he's a player you would likely never be able to replace.

The joke is you can get player with 9-10s balls on main skills and 0 on stamina or speed.

Loyal players were not good improvment of that game. Why? ...Insteasd of creating players you can just get them and depends on how lucky you are.

Just sacked all my new loyal players, 3 in hockey and 1 for football. Here's hoping that the next round of offerings will be better.

I just got one with 0 speed. So not him! I think when I left MZ ten+ years ago I should have stayed quit. Think I'm done here. Enjoy, lads.

If you notice Herbert Nelson (scruttino), Mauro Entrala (eudin85), Bruno Sparnaaij (sankoo) and Akis Seretis (see below, he is mine), they have 1 major thing in common. They were the first ever loyal players (first generation after the introduction of the feature, they all joined their clubs @ 21-10-2014) that actually worth something. All the rest generations (from then on) produced low quality players.

why would you try to raise youths...
I have a suggestion in mind: you should be able to sold this kind of players. If it is all about luck...let ie be to the very end!
this is not acceptable for a game about managers..sorry for interruption

Aren't you a bit overreacting? I mean, of all the loyals that are out there, only 5 or 6 are worth showing in this topic, apparently. I tried the loyal lottery once and have chosen to take the 600k euros from then on. Says enough

Reviving an old thread
It's been around 5 years since Loyal Players were introduced.
I sure people have been given some great players in that time.
If anyone wants to share them here, we can update the legend.

Thanks man,
I'll see what happens if you choose loyal players every season over a 20 season stretch, you a bound to be given some exceptional talent. Plus, lots of Loyal players have now played for National teams and to think that you are just given them. Like, here have some of this. Why thank you very much.
I do this in Hockey, but you get 3 each season there. One out of 3 is always at least useful.
But in Football you only get 2 per season, which significantly reduces the odds of getting a good one.

Currently have 12 loyal players on my squad, no superstars though. Just a group of solid players or players with great strengths but big weaknesses.

Well my rebuild in Football is going to be an experiment, not as extreme as my Hockey (now dynasty 9 out of the last 10 AIHL league titles) team with only domestic players I produce myself or loyal players.
But my oldest plyers in Football are now 20, loyal players start at 20 as well, so I'll get them every season from now on, build slowly and add foreign players when I see exceptional talent for a reasonable price. Combine that with a youth rotation policy of developing a completely green bunch of 23, 16 year olds through to graduation and then in the next season use the Youth Customisation feature to bring in another full batch of 23 18 year old youth right behind them. Rinse and repeat over each year and each season.
I've 111 million AUD in bank so I'll never run out of money, the only problem I see will be not having enough training camp places each season until the senior squad is full established and doesn't requires TC's anymore. But that in the grand scheme of things is a minor problem.
I should start seeing good senior results in 2-4 years time.

Re: The Best Loyal Player Alive

Because if you think about over a 20 season timeframe in Football your get 40 players, plus whatever additional special event tours provide Loyal players
Out of 40-50 players you are bound to be given at least 4-5 useful senior players
