Youth League Pages

On the youth league pages, it tells me "World - div3.10".

Nowhere on the page does it tell me that it is the U18/U21/U23 league. For Australians, that's especially annoying as our leagues are full of Chinese names that no-one can read so they all look exactly the same.

Suggestion 1 is put the Uxx on the page somewhere.
Suggestion 2 is remove all Chinese characters from the game (or Chinese users, whichever is easier).

Have you been taking a leaf out of Clive Palmer and Jacquie Lambie's book?

Just providing options.

Having played in an all China FL with all teams in Chinese characters except for two...was a nightmare I will not relive. Took a look at your youth leagues, and OMG. So I submitted this in the admin forum:

Imagine that you are in a country that is basically English speaking, such as Australia, and you had to look at this kind of tables for results in your Youth Leagues. I believe it becomes a nightmare...not really knowing who you are playing, other than a team from China?? Very hard to distinguish the differences of the teams with the Chinese characters.

So, is there anything that could be done to change these Chinese characters into some English translation, for the sake of their sanity. I remember a few months ago something was introduced for the change of players' names to English. It would be good to do it for the Teams, too.

To get away from dealing with teams from China and the Chinese characters in the team names is to put Aus/NZ Youth Leagues in a different group per quote by Patrick:

We have no preconceived ideas for where to place Aus/NZ teams in the Youth League groups. We are open to making changes, but there are practicalities to make it fair if countries are merged/moved.

I.e the teams joining an existing league should expect to start at the bottom, regardless of where they were placed in the original league. (as the new co Glasgow Rangers had to do in the SPL)

I don't mind joining any other league at the bottom. At the moment I'm paying for the youth leagues and barely even look at the standings or upcoming matches because I can't tell the difference anyway.

Patrick said there was a lengthy discussions from the Aus/NZ users about getting the competitions to happen at a reasonably time for your time zone. Thus the youth leagues were aligned according your time zone.

And if it was going to be moved then I am sure he would like to get a consensus from the majority of the users in AUS/NZ for it. So you need to rally your troops to show their support for it. Either in your on thread, or this one.

2 of my 3 Uxx matches are at 23:15 today. In a couple weeks I have a 00:00 and 00:15 kickoffs.

Where does reasonable end? At 5am like every other cup?

I would substitute live matches for the sake of playing some English speaking teams.

I think I had mentioned to tosspot to rally the Australia/New Zealand users to vote here that they would be in favor of moving their youth leagues out of the World Youth League to the Americas Youth League. The Americas is not all English speaking users but it is easier to distinguish the different teams than the Chinese character teams.

If the majority of the users want to make the move, then I will push Patrick to make the move possible as per his quote in an earlier post in this thread. Also, the move will have conditions as mentioned.
