Every time I want to get away, you drag me back in.

No, I don't take things "to" literally. If I took them too literally life would get dull. Consistency in the military? Hmm, not sure the relevance there.

Ironically you seem to be taking things too literally as nowhere was it stated you, personally, are the reason the game is dying. Your online persona, which I very much doubt you consistently use in real life, however, is an example of the problem.

As for third point, please don't shout. I'm unaware if you've any knowledge of online netiquette, but using all capitals is regarded as shouting. that's generally regarded as rude. On a secondary note, if you are generally getting upset and annoyed to the extent you fell like shouting, it's not a good thing for your blood pressure.

Again, there's no tantrum involved. There was an attempt to discuss things rationally which you derailed with your admitted trolling. Please stop spreading a falsehood.

With that, I'm finally done. Arguing with a self admitted troll online only validates their persona.

Mrsheepie, if you do not take things to literally, why did you accuse me in your previous post? Wouldn't you sense that it was humor? Guess you have no sense of humor.

Also, i am not yelling, i am not even talking, i am typing. Gheez, did your feelings get hurt cus i used caps?

This thread reminds me of the usual thread on MZ talk back in the day, where a welshman would write bollocks and make everybody hate him. Threads would be closed left right and center. I believe he at one point was forum banned until the year 2030?

Also back then, this welshman was predicting the imminemt death of MZ.

Ah well, just a slight digression.

Carry on guys.

Actually this isn't a hate thread. I was just wondering if MZ can hit 5000.

You were, indeed. But the thread turned into a hate thread just at its second post...

For comparison, GPro, a F1 game ( and it's safe to say football is a more popular sport ) has 9.7k online at the moment.

Here, at its second post, the thread loses its way.

Not a hate thread on my part nor intended to be.

Even after this post of yours, you have foresaw that the game, the community, the managers and everyone and everything in here is dying. Call it bitter? Call it hate? Call it "death issues"? Just call it mate. Call it something.

I can't question mos, hanz, dark and toss.

Can you mrsheepie? Will you?

MZ;)

Re: 5000 online?

We have a number of different ads running, that began late in August.

A lot of older Managers are looking, as well as new registrations.

These are examples of early ads, although there are many, many variations depending on where the adverts are shown.

Is Patrick also on the board at Tesco? I haven't seen more than 4000 logged in, even on a match day, for weeks. Don't try and frig the figures.
The 7000 plus figures were clearly curious gamers who looked in once and never looked again.
"Growth" is a big word and clearly misused in this thread.

Re: 5000 online?

Besides tantrum and disecting, I remember 7k online users around 2003 am I wrong?
I am talking about the times when you were able to see the total number of users (something like 1M and users registered today:327)
After that long "The downfall " topic , is an explanation needed?

There are a few witnesses also at that particular time to support my statement. Whether it is true or just a bug, it remains as a mystery until today. ❤

Sad to see the point MZ got to...

Re: 5000 online?

People lose interest because owners are so greedy to listen. I told you many times 'open few cups free for everyone such as National Cup or league u18. Applying for National team manager should be available for all, not only club members. There is not many attractive things for free so this is a reason why everybody is bored of this game. I sold my players so I'm probably next to leave after many years of activity. If you surprise me in positive way, maybe I will stay here.

Re: 5000 online?

Badge image
True. 100% but it's also a generation thing. I'm sure most managers are around 30+ and started as teenagers so we stick to MZ.

New managers probably find it hard to get footing in the game due to the price tag but also due to the head start a lot of teams have. (Financially, etc)

I reckon most people don't start a game and then have the vision in mind to play for years because that's what it kind of takes to be here.
