For comparison, GPro, a F1 game ( and it's safe to say football is a more popular sport ) has 9.7k online at the moment.

Who cares about gpro lol

Re: 5000 online?

People should. Any online game is theoretical competition. The fact that a game dedicated to the most popular sport in the world struggles to get around half the number online on a match day as a motor racing game does on a "dead" non race day would and should trouble people concerned about the long term future of the game.

Look how dormant the forums are for example. Dead as a dodo.

Still, if the attitude if "Who cares about forums being dead lol", then I assume there's no problem?

Getting back to the online numbers, you're also missing one spectacularly obvious fact. The game needs to monetise it's userbase. People aren't running the game for the love of it, you know. If a low number of people are online on a match day then that tells me that, irrespective of the number of active managers, the number of truly active managers ( excluding multi-accounts ) is pretty low. Assuming 100% of those online are paying customers is naive in the extreme. So there's automatically a maximum number of customers who money can be extracted from to subsidise the game.

Re: 5000 online?

Typo; " irrespective of the number of active managers" should be " irrespective of the number of registered managers".

I think you'll find it was a discourse about problems the game has and raising pertinent points in a discussion type format, not a tantrum.

As you're Canadian and thus English may or may not be your first language, I've included some links to dictionary definitions of the word "tantrum" as I believe you're not using it in an appropriate context.

And how much of that goes to MZ do you suppose?

Re: 5000 online?

Indeed he doesn't, Mr Zappa ( may I call you that? * ).

Which shows the problem. I don't pay into the game because in my opinion - which obviously isn't going to be the same as other people - I don't believe there's enough value for money for me to want to contribute. Even if I felt some of the benefits from supporter were worth me paying for, let's not forget ancilliary features - for example, a non-existent community.

* Nice to "meet" another Frank Zappa fan. Some great tunes. Music as it should be.

Actually, if you take look at powerchallenges current state, its far worse than manager zone, i am pretty sure most of the money powerchallenge earns goes to manager zone, nonetheless, the payments from both sites go to the same company, so it does not even matter. I can easily transfer my tokens from power soccer to MZ.

I am indeed Welsh; although it you knew much about the geographical culture, you'd know English is far and above the largest language used in Wales. The Welsh language is sadly dwindling in numbers, major usage being reserved for pockets of the nation. Much like Canada and the use of French as primary language in areas.

I also use English here due to it being the ENGLISH language forum.

Thank you for your use of my mother tongue. I presume you used Google Translate! In response I can say, *removed*

Well, if you'll indulge me, I'll dissect your post.

A) If a game is boring or not is not an absolute. It's a subjective opinion not a fact.
B) Playing online games isn't an exclusive "one or the other" activity.
C) Games have strengths and weaknesses. Rejecting any discussion of either side of the same coin is a case of "fanboi"-ism.
D) I'd doubt that you'd ever played Gpro to be able to make a subjective opinion. I suspect it's more the case you feel a game you like is under attack and thus feel subconscious pressure to go passive/aggressive in defence of it.
E) As previously indicated to you, discussion is not the same as a tantrum. Please stop conflating things.

1.A post cannot be dissected, a frog can.
2. Are you done the tantrum?

4. If you think GPRO is so good, why waste time here?

1. The logic and points made in posts can be dissected.
2. I think you'll find there's no tantrum.
3. I would have thought using Welsh in an English language forum would lead to posts being removed.
4. Again, you seem to believe games are an exclusive thing to play.
5. Already pointed that out. I'm not going to pay if I don't feel the game provides me with enough reason to do so. That's my individual opinion.

Not a hate thread on my part nor intended to be. Raising points I've noticed in my time here in a civilised manner. If some people have a prediliction from perceiving them to be an attack or "hate" then there's nothing I can really do above that - people will read words on a screen the way that they want to.

Not if it's to offend someone or entice a longer argument.

Also I find telling someone to learn a language is unnecessary...

Thank god, i think its over.

Re: 5000 online?

I feel there's no more point to any discussion within this thread.

For whatever reason, the user "happy-guy" seems intent on trolling, attacking and undermining any attempt of having a reasonable discussion on what I believe is a big issue for MZ and it's future going forward.

Having made my first, valid point, further posts were going to try to maybe address some of the issue I feel about the game with established managers who had been part of the community far longer than me contributing. Maybe we could exchange thoughts, ideas have some good suggestions.

Sadly, a seeming stagnant, dying "community" embodied by people like "happy-guy" really sum up the state of the game in my individual opinion.

Maybe an assistant should just close / delete the whole thread.

I'd definately love to hear more of your thoughts about this game.

And yeah the purpose of this thread has been and gone, deleting it seems a bit harsh though.

That's a bit... bothersome for me.

You want a a more active community, so why would you troll/be mean/be immature towards the current community?

To scare you.

Re: 5000 online?

You want a more active community and more ways to communicate with that community.

You troll the first poster in the thread.

That's not scary, that's counter-productive. If we had more ways to communicate would that mean you'd act the same way there? Even if MZ were considering making chat-rooms I think you've just set an example of how successful it would be, if we had them, not very.

I'm done here, enjoy your day.

Actually, i dont troll the first poster , he trolled. No need to get so attached, the game community is not up to me, one user. Its up to the game.

"Re: 5000 online? Quote

and then later post

"ctually, i dont troll the first poster , he trolled. No need to get so attached, the game community is not up to me, one user. Its up to the game."

The two points are inconsistent.

You're an example of why the game is the way that it is, community wise. That feeds into other areas - if people don't to engage in forums, why would they then want to engage financially? What's the motivation to do so? That lack of engagement is a massive problem you clearly seem to underestimate or get passive-aggressive about. maybe the two are linked. You're seemingly happy to roll along, head in the sand to ignored any reasoned "criticism" whilst trolling. You're a walking metaphor for the game at this point in time.

Have a good day.

Okay, your problem is you take everything to literally. So what if my points are inconsistent, you do not have a sense of humour? You want consistency, go to the military.

Secondly, i am not the reason this game is dying, you are not even CM, i purchased CM multiple times on PS, which sends the money to the same company.

Thirdly, DID YOU STOP YOUR TANTRUM!!
