The fact i can't sell my loyal players put new players in a disadvantage. Ok i understand this is to prevent cheating but i have 5 decent players who are maxed in key area's like stamina and ball control. They are my best players because of their other skills but if i could, i would sell a few of them so i can progress. The fact they are maxed in certain area, means theyve hit a wall even though they have alot of balls in other areas.
I just think this needs changing to give new managers a chance to progress quicker. I agree that these players shouldn't be available for sale right at the start for new managers, but maybe 2 seasons in or something? Calling them loyal players might have to be changed aswell haha

Could you please show us the Loyal Players?
Also, estimate how much investement they would've costed with training and TC and how much they'd be worth on the TM, if a beginner would have bought such players.

I can see a reply coming like they'd only fetch about 10k. But maybe in a season or 2 they improve a few balls which would up their price, and i still cant sell them...
They'll still be unavailable to sell, i'd probably have better players for their positions, and them loyal players will be too good to sell because of the secondary skills.
Think i'm jabbering a bit now, but my point is, the gap between the experienced teams and the new teams is huge, so i think new managers need less of these disadvantages.

I'd actually make the argument that Loyal Players are actually a hindrance rather than a benefit, at least when you get past the Welcome Cups.
They are too good for the level they are playing at, the amount they cost in salary makes it harder for you to have the free money to build the stadium, buy other players and train Youths to the maximum.
The reason they can't be sold is the same reason they were withdrawn the first time around is that people just created accounts to cheat. So the only real option would be to remove them entirely.
Personally, unless they Loyal Players are of a good enough quality that you could see them going all the way to the top with you, I'd get rid of them as soon as the Welcome Cups have passed.

In hockey I started a team 2 seasons a go, sacked 3 loyal players straight away and kept the two who are now in the national team and the retiring player who is coaching for me now. Admittedly if I got lucky with two players of national team standard, but even sacking the rest and playing them with a youth squad these two players won an inactive league by a mile for me. So I see them more as filler to guarantee you promotion until the youth improve enough to become competitive

I think as soon as i purchase a few half decent players to replace them, ill go ahead and release the loyal players. Just an annoying that ill have to release them, when back in the day they could be sold...

The equivalent did.
Every team got 3 good players alongside the usual lot you got. My first team did back in 2003.

I agree that the loyal players are more of a hindrance. As they are suppose to give new managers a boost, but with the high wages, and no prospect to make money by selling, maybe the loyal players should be on low wages?
Just an incentive to keep hold of them to progress through the leagues, while not wasting too much money on their wages, maybe they accept 50% wages, so that the extra money can be spent on stadium etc.
