Improve training camp offers..

This is my second stint with MZ. Love the game. Hate the training camp offers. We as the managers of our teams should be able to pick what skills we are paying for.. Love the U 18 and U 21 leagues. I like the training graph for players on waivers, well done.

Please update the training camp.. Thank you, Mark

i can't disagree with your complaint, but the thing is they have increased the rotation of training camps to happen 2 times a week and they have also added many more training packages to the new training system, what more do you want them to do?

All the new editions are great, what I suggested would be something like the intensive training camp. The manager was allowed to chose 3 different skills. Thats what I would like for them to do, poolboy.

agreedd with u guys, choosing the right training should be managers decision. Lets change it

completely disagree!

it would make the game too easy because I'd just focus the training camp on 1 skill and if power or shooting or checking didn't max the player would be cut immediately.

also, getting the right training camp for your players is a game within the game. you need to make sure that you have enough money, enough training camp spaces, and can afford to lose the player when that dream training camp comes around. this year I sent my 3 best defenseman to training camp 5 games before the end of the season because I liked the camp. I lost a game to the 2nd place team which made the rest of the season very tense, but it was a calculated risk and one that forced me into making a real decision.

managerzone should be about making tough "managerial" decisions. they can't make everything easy. is it worth it to take the power/checking/passing training package or should I wait to see if a power/checking/stamina package is coming? those are the decisions that make the game fun.

I agree with smiler . All you would get in the market is clone players with same skills

It's a strategic game for sure. I'm not a member so I can only send players to train for any current package that suit them. The rotation system forces me to be more cautious in sending players. Also, the incremental pricing for additional weeks allowed me to double check my finances before sending players to 5-week camps.

I like the free youth spots, though. So will I get 8 free spots after each camp, or every season, or how does it work?

you can have 8 youth players at a training camp for free at any given time. so when one of your players completes his youth camp, you can send another one for free. basically you can send 24 youths to camp for free this year.

Hello. Nice to see this thread.

First of all, I gould like to see the same thing for TC Exchanges as for the YCC. Let us choose the 2-3 skills we wish to train.

If that is not possible, and I don't understand why, I am not happy with the current packages.

We need to understand how we train a player at certain age to understand what the packages should look like.

For e.g. the first skills we need for a 16-17 y.o. are power, stamina, shooting and checking.
That's it.
So that's how the packages should look like.
1. Power shooting stamina or simply power shooting for Wingers.
2. Shooting checking stamina or power shooting checking for Centers.
3. Power checking stamina or simply power checking for Defenders.
4. Power stamina or power quick stamina for Wild Cards.

At the age of 18 our youths should already be maxed at power.
Therefore, other packages should be very useful.
1. The first useful package should be quickness shooting stamina.
Also skating quickness shooting for Wingers
2. Shooting checking quickness or shooting checking skating or shooting checking control for Centers
3. Quickness checking stamina or skating quickness checking for Defenders
4. Quickness stamina or skating quickness stamina for Wild Cards

After the age of 19 our Uxx players should already be maxed at power stamina and shooting/checking at least.
They may already be maxed at quickness as well.
So let's suppose they are already maxed at 4 skills.
They would be power and 3 out of 4 skills shooting checking stamina.
For e.g.
1. Power quick shoot stamina maxed for Winger
2. Power shoot checking stamina maxed for Center
3. Power quick checking stamina maxed for Defender.
So for a 19-21 y.o. any package with these 4 skills is completely useless.
In this case you would need
1. PI skating control or skating passing control for Wingers
2. Skating quick control for PI skating quick for Centers
3. PI skating control or PI skating passing for Defenders
4. PI skating quick, or skating control stamina for Wild Card

This is how the packages should look like.
The association of power and passing is completely futile.
I don't get it.
If your player is completely green, why in the world would you train him power and passing?
There are many TC packages which don't make any sense. Also I see TCs with PI and power. Why would you train him like that?
More than 1/3 of the current TC packages don't make any sense.

Hockey is not Football.
Passing is a skill mostly for Centers in TC, while in Football you need Passing for both Forwards and Midfielders.
It's not the same thing.
Why?
Simple.
If you need a skating passing control or PI skating control for your Hockey Player, it means that he is already maxed at power quickness shooting checking and stamina.

I hope a Crew member reads this and takes some actions to review the current TC packages.
