Fundraising for Leukemia&Lymphoma Society

Hello fellow ManagerZone players, I am currently in training for a half marathon (13.1 miles) with the [i]Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training (http://www.teamintraining.org).[/i] [u]So far I have completed 9 miles!.[/u] The race is the [i]Disney Wine & Dine Marathon in Orlando Florida on November 9 2013.[/i] As I train for this physical challenge, I have also set a personal goal of raising $2,400 for the [i]Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (http://www.lls.org).[/i] The funds raised go directly to cancer research, patient aid and public health education. Update, I continue to train every other day, running 4.5 miles. My long days are Tuesday and I have been steady at 9 miles. As race day approaches (November 9 2013)I will fluctuate my long days down to 7 miles and then gradually up to 111 miles. The running is the easy part. Fundraising is slowly moving along. I raised $300 this past weekend and I continue to look for corporate partnerships. So far I have raised $1,054.70. So I am almost half way! Please support me in my challenges to cure leukemia and lymphoma.
