But all attendances have been levelled... wtf?
Why would this be done and more importantly, why wasn't it mentioned in news?

Nothing has been changed, that is why there is no news.
League position affects attendance, and for the first match of the season all teams are placed equally in their leagues.
The last news I can find on attendance was posted in 2006.

But looking through the last 3 seasons of Division 1 it seems that the attendance was always 9225 on the opening day.

tosspot - 17-07-2013 14:38Mine was under 10k last season, but it turns out that was a full stadium for a team that obviously didn't expect to be in the top division. 10850 for a top div.
It can't only be based off league position? I've had consistently the highest attendance average in league every season and I certainly haven't been leading.

Dang, now I need to take a proposal to the Board of Directors to see if:...1. They want to bring in cheerleaders and babes clad in tutus walking up and down the aisles selling refreshments;...or 2. Increase the cost of tickets.

I am a new manager and my 1st games tickets sales were 296 GDP. This was a play off game at home the team is second in division 6 . If this continues I will go broke. Anyone know whats going on?

smiller29 - 04-06-2015 03:12Your most significant source of income is from League Home games. Also, play 2 sets of Home/Away Friendlies each week. The extra money from these 2 games will help you a lot (you can only collect money from a max of 2 friendlies/wk). The Friendlies, League Games and Sponsorship should get you the funds you need to survive.
Also, try and complete some of the newly introduced Achievement Chains. They will help! It looks like your stadium is built up pretty well already so you don't need to change that, but make sure you have all 3 seatings (VIP, Terrace & Seating) as well as the Hot Dog Stands and Souvenir Shops maxed for the Division you are in.
