Andy Carroll to West Ham

I'm Happy! It's a good sign. A serious wedge of cash staked on signs of real stability. With the Stadium deal agreed Rat and Carroll in and more players to come, things are finally looking good for the Hammers :DI'm Happy!

Yeah i think there is something a little over excited here. Sure he scored a few at Newcastle, but did bugger all at liverpool and tbh hasnt done much at WHU either last season. Certainly wasnt lighting the league on fire with his goal scoring abilities thats for sure. Since he has left Newcastle he has had a lot of injuries, and a 6 year contract at 100k a week, might just attract more second rate mercenaries to the Hammers. Maybe you should wait for the naming of your shirt tonner, and get one with Djibrel Cisse, Gareth Barry or Darren Bent on it. I dont think this signing screams of a huge step up in class (sad if it does), just a willingness to overspend on average players. Cant see you getting relegated though, i mean when was the last time a team spent millions on mercs and get relegated? ;)Yeah i think there is something a little over excited here.
