I'd be sad to see him go to Madrid. There's something soulless about Madrid. I liked the idea of him going to Barca but then they signed Jordi Alba so I can't see how he'd fit there, unless they put him on the left of midfield but a lot more central than he's currently playing... He is an awesome player anyhow, has been the last couple of seasons now. I thought he'd drop back to normality, but he seems to be staying at overdrive levels.I'd be sad to see him go to Madrid. There's something soulless about Madrid. safc, good point... Dani Alves snd Jordi Alba get to do plenty of running, but Bale can't play on the right and, considering what he'd cost, he's not *that much* of an upgrade to Alba. I'm probably slightly hung up on the idea that when Barca's LB was an aging, and unwell, Abidal, Bale seemed like a superb potential replacement. Oh well. I suppose Internazionale may be interested, if they remember Bale's performances against them, but there doesn't seem to be the super-high levels of money in Italy these days. Papers reckon Guardiola would like him at Bayern, but there again I have the issue of not liking Bayern.safc, good point... it still amazes me how short a time ago it was he was touted as bad luck as spurs never won with him in the line up, and rumours were starting to surface of a cut their losses move to another lesser premier league club. Good player and ridiculous pace. Having said that he is worth nowhere near the figures being mentioned. British players are ridiculously expensive and any sensible club should stay clear of him unless he's available on a fair price.
