33 years of supporting Bradford City.......
I've seen the highs (Premier League for 2 seasons / play off final win / great promotion seasons...
and I've seen the lows....was at the fire disaster / relegations / administration 3 times / almost dropping out of league 2.
but I've never seen anything like this......
A League 2 team going to Wembley for one of Englands showpiece finals....Mental !!!

Certainly is, great stuff :)
Interesting element that you had Phil Parkinson at Bradford and Paul Lambert at Villa, both did fine work with Colchester United, but Parkinson lost his way after leaving while Lambert has made his way to the Premier League.
Anyway, very pleased for Parkinson, Bradford and, hey why not, your long-suffering self, whins ;)

As a Chelsea fan.. I would be more interested in watching a Swansea vs Bradford final than any final with Chelsea in it and am actually half pleased it happened.
Winning the League cup is nothing of worth for the top few teams and it reduces the quality of the competition having them in it (I have always thought those teams already competing in europe should not be involved in the league cup this is irrelevant to games and results this current season).
The top teams celebrate like they are champions of the world when they win it, but when they get knocked out early, they claim 'its not a priority'. Hopefully this is the spark this competition has needed for many a year.
For football, Bradford vs Swansea final is best match up for years.

It's a win-win situation for me now. I'd be chuffed to see Michael Laudrup win a trophy in his first season here, and it'd be a nice reward for the football Swansea have played, and of course equally if not more so it'd be fantastic to see ol' Bradford pull of such an incredible feat, capping an astonishing run.

I watched last nights second half and it was great. A fantastic effort in earlier rounds too.
Those lads and their long suffering fans fully deserve their big day out.
Enjoy it Whins!

Thanks Heddo...McCall and Hendrie are my favourite 2 players of all time at City.
Hendrie the best winger I've ever seen in a claret and amber shirt (followed closely by Peter Beagrie)and as for McCall.......legend.
