Bobby Heglsgaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mile Aurer having to make a save. Mile Aurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Heglsgaard in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Denmark's Bobby Heglsgaard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mile Aurer. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvije Debrecin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grgur Kapor, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mile Aurer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svend Lode in the 28th minute. Bobby Heglsgaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mile Aurer having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Sven Talevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobby Heglsgaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mile Aurer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Karl Duby got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bobby Heglsgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Kladarić in the 54th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Karl Duby hit a great ball. Miljenko Bujanović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt having to make a save. Bobby Heglsgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mile Aurer having to interfere. Mile Aurer had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Ambrosius Bøgkjær's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Bobby Heglsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark made a substitution. Tine Hermansholm replaced Albert Gjesten. In the 76th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Tine Hermansholm went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tine Hermansholm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Croatia's Mile Aurer did a great save. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Talevski in the 81st minute of the match. Bobby Heglsgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mile Aurer having to interfere. With a little luck, Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt got control of the ball when Grgur Kapor tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Bobby Heglsgaard sped through Croatia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mile Aurer. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grgur Kapor in the 92nd minute of play. Tine Hermansholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mile Aurer having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Grgur Kapor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grgur Kapor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Denmark were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Croatia for a fine match.
