Ourente Martioda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Heglsgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Sainz in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Ignado Faubelo came free, but Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Xesus Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Tadeo Goiti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Paraguay's Ourente Martioda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Heglsgaard in the 38th minute of play. Ourente Martioda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannik Eskely in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Bobby Heglsgaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ourente Martioda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Denmark's Asmind Teglsbo was substituted for Carsten Hansfeldt. The throw-in from Ilazki Bolonga in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Albert Gjesten. In the 55th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Gyrdahl to maneuver through the defense. Ourente Martioda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jannik Eskely in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Bobby Heglsgaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ourente Martioda to make any attempt to save it. Denmark's Ambrosius Bøgkjær was substituted for Stig Gyrdahl. 65 minutes into the match, Denmark's Bobby Heglsgaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ourente Martioda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ourente Martioda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nickolaj Børsum in the 92nd minute. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arixo Roig in the 94th minute of play.
