Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) 12 minutes into the match, U21 Kuwait's Marco Reus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunamaya Lachenpa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haitham Jiragh in the 17th minute of play forced U21 India's goalkeeper Gunamaya Lachenpa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Kuwait's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bandana Mitra was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 India's players had a chance to rest. Basel Al Baghli made a great header on U21 Kuwait's corner, it was just that U21 India's Gunamaya Lachenpa managed to reach the ball for a save. After 29 minutes U21 India's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Basel Al Baghli who took care of the corner kick. Gunamaya Lachenpa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kundan Toor during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kundan Toor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
