No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Papi Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Marcello Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Vornic was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Marcello Quirino took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Vornic. Moldova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calvin Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-2. Lucimar Barcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Ciocan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-3 was the resulting score. Brazil were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Moldova for a fine match.
