In the 12th minute Radamel-Falcao Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balázs Gyurkovics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Csaba Sinkovits made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Colombia's Simón Trinidad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, U21 Hungary's Viktor Bódi got a free kick in the 19th minute. A hard shot by Csaba Veres from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Simón Trinidad's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, U21 Colombia's Delmar Villabona got a free kick in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Hungary reached it. In the 91st minute Angel Edelényi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simón Trinidad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ourente Milla took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Balázs Gyurkovics to make any attempt to save it.
