Spectators: 1028 (Terracing: 772, Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Boubacar Barry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Akrour in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, MZ Country's René Akrour nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boubacar Barry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute of the match, Terence Mandla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dida Ouadah was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 16 minutes into the match, South Africa's goal looked a bit too open when Lakhdar Fillali came free, but Boubacar Barry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lakhdar Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Boubacar Barry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terence Mandla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Ouadah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Lakhdar Fillali notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of South Africa's Boubacar Barry. Boubacar Barry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in South Africa's zone, René Akrour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boubacar Barry came out of the goal and René Akrour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30thth minute of the game René Akrour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Africa's Boubacar Barry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. South Africa's Boubacar Barry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Fillali in the 31st minute of play. Boubacar Barry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Lakhdar Fillali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boubacar Barry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Ahmed Akrour notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of South Africa's Boubacar Barry. Boubacar Barry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MZ Country booed when South Africa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etienne Mafuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Phakathi was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, South Africa's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Akrour came free, but Boubacar Barry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boubacar Barry came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Country's Lakhdar Fillali. But to his dismay, Lakhdar Fillali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 62 minutes into the match, Lakhdar Fillali dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boubacar Barry, 0-5. MZ Country's Juliusz Julegaard was substituted for Juliusz Julius. Boubacar Barry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Akrour, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Albert Phakathi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Ouadah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Ahmed Akrour sped through South Africa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boubacar Barry. MZ Country made a substitution. Maïssa Badis replaced Abdelhamid Chebal. MZ Country's Walid Mesbah was substituted for Halim Soltani. 77 minutes into the match, South Africa's goalkeeper Boubacar Barry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by René Akrour. Dida Ouadah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Phakathi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakhdar Fillali got free with Boubacar Barry in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th match minute, South Africa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thabile Sewele to maneuver through the defense. René Akrour came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boubacar Barry could save by the left post. Thabile Sewele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boubacar Barry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Akrour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Country played a much better game than South Africa and deserved their victory. The South Africa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
