Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Urane got the match started through his kick off. Bayan Yase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Cheito Posam. Ben Echin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Hubert Liclican had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Dely. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Liclican was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Panama's Julio Dely got control of the ball when Alande Brillantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bayan Yase didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Urane went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Panama were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Philippines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Oberto took the corner. Bayan Yase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's Demetrius Playo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Hector Oberto. 38 minutes into the match, Panama's Ramón Jaen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Yase narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bayan Yase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Jaen in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ramón Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Yase was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nur Conlu during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Philippines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nur Conlu to maneuver through the defense. Bayan Yase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Jaen in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ramón Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayan Yase was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Ramón Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bayan Yase made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ramón Jaen sent off a good shot on target. If Humberto Urane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippines's Bayan Yase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Jaen in the 57th minute of play. Humberto Urane was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Urane in the 62nd minute of play forced Philippines's goalkeeper Bayan Yase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Humberto Urane got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayan Yase was a little too slow when Demetrius Playo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-5. Bayan Yase stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Urane's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Panama's Humberto Urane ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bayan Yase. Bayan Yase yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Demetrius Playo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Bayan Yase didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Philippines's Bayan Yase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Urane in the 77th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Luca Zamora in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Philippines's Bugoy Cabanting. In the 91st minute, Panama's Ramón Jaen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. When Humberto Urane came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Urane couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, Panama's Ramón Jaen made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bayan Yase was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Philippines fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
