Omar Barberá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Fința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Romania's Costică Turcan got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, U21 Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Turcan came free, but Omar Barberá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Turcan in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Barberá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 played minutes U21 Romania got a freekick which was hit by Alex Ţiţeica. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
