Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) In the 4thth minute of the game Abe Rose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 India's Paresh Rani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samant Dhamija in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Larry Waller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paresh Rani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Nelson in the 12th minute of the match. Abe Rose struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Paresh Rani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Australia. Larry Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amitav Cheema, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthew Nelson in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paresh Rani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Australia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthew Nelson in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Matthew Nelson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paresh Rani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41stth minute of the game Abe Rose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 India's Paresh Rani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 India's Ahannatha Gore got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abe Rose in the 43rd minute of play forced U21 India's goalkeeper Paresh Rani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 India's Paresh Rani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abe Rose in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rajanikant Agarwal to make the kick off. Larry Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Divij Sood V, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Matthew Nelson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 India's goalkeeper Paresh Rani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, U21 Australia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Dollimore to maneuver through the defense. U21 India's Teja Malhan was substituted for Ahannatha Gore. With 85 minutes on the clock, Apratiratha Sahu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Apratiratha Sahu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paresh Rani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Blackham in the 87th minute of the match.
