Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iwan Bazan started the match with the kick off. Manu Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. If Olin Purcell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada's Manu Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Bazan in the 12th minute of play. Poland were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Canada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Franciszek Kempka took the corner. The corner ended in Franciszek Kempka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Canada's Manu Neuer did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Bazan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manu Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Canada's Manu Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Tesarski in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Poland's Manu Neuer threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcin Tesarski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iwan Bazan took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manu Neuer. Manu Neuer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Manu Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Barna in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Canada's Hank Reagan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksander Lukasik was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Poland fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Poland's Filip Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manu Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwan Bazan in the 38th minute.
Canada made a substitution. Jean Deblois replaced Hank Reagan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Deblois in the 53rd minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Aleksander Lukasik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Poland's goalkeeper Aleksander Lukasik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Deblois. 59 minutes in the game Georges Desruisseaux did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jean Deblois. Aleksander Lukasik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Estrada in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Tesarski came free, but Manu Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poland's Julian Tokarczyk got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Canada's Jean Deblois in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poland's goalie prevented a goal. Manu Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Tesarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manu Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcin Tesarski went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Canada made a substitution. Ertuğrul Sağlam replaced Gonzalo Fremont. In the 84th minute, Aron Dow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Poland booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Dow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Lukasik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Estrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Ed Estrada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksander Lukasik. Ed Estrada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Aleksander Lukasik made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Jean Deblois sent off a good shot on target. Jean Deblois's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aleksander Lukasik firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aleksander Lukasik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Estrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Poland had won after a very even match.
