Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Charly Lemoine started the match with the kick off. The supporters of U21 Greece booed when U21 France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Stenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Philippe Cuny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akakios Kefalas in the 10th minute of the match. Fragiskos Batakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Lemoine in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes U21 Greece's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Charly Lemoine who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Lemoine in the 19th minute of play forced U21 Greece's goalkeeper Fragiskos Batakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Charles-Emmanuel Boisson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Greece the free kick.
