After having played for 88 minutes, Konrad Zdeb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Zdeb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Zdeb came free, but Iurie Pescaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Poland supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Romania's performance. The match ended with a win for Romania.
