Seating: 2384, VIP seats: 207) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tercero Pandal made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of U21 Argentina booed when U21 Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynardo Aizaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tercero Pandal in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Lore saved U21 Argentina from getting behind. When Remigio Toraño fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Colombia's protests and gave Remigio Toraño a yellow card for diving instead. Remigio Toraño hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Fortunato Baeza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Ordono in the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Remigio Toraño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Ordono succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. Alvaro Lore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tercero Pandal in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match U21 Colombia got a corner. U21 Argentina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orzaize Ascarretazabal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on U21 Colombia's corner Rios Molleda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvaro Lore quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tercero Pandal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Lore was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Incendio Bugarin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Incendio Bugarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Ordono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Apolo Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Baeza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herminio Orlandus was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Argentina's players had a chance to rest. U21 Argentina's Herminio Orlandus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fortunato Baeza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Xorxe Landazuri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Argentina the free kick. A collision led to U21 Colombia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Xorxe Landazuri hit a great ball. Apolo Ordono scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fortunato Baeza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Ordono to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Ordono in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Baeza saved U21 Colombia from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tercero Pandal got free with Alvaro Lore in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eufrasio Abraldez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tercero Pandal in the 61st minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Alvaro Lore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Colombia's Matthew Mattei was substituted for Remigio Toraño. A sloppy throw-in by Xuoco Bardon in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Argentina's Herminio Orlandus. The supporters of U21 Argentina booed when U21 Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tercero Pandal didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Argentina's Javier Pasqual was substituted for Dalmacio Tiadoro. U21 Argentina made a substitution. Severo Orlondon replaced Apolo Ordono. In the 66th match minute, U21 Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tercero Pandal to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Baeza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Orlondon in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes U21 Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Xuoco Bardon. Alvaro Lore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Pandal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Argentina's attentive Herminio Orlandus managed to snatch the ball when Eufrasio Abraldez made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes in the game Eufrasio Abraldez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Xuoco Bardon. 85 minutes into the match, Severo Orlondon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fortunato Baeza. U21 Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Orlondon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Orlondon in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Baeza saved U21 Colombia from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, U21 Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Orlondon came free, but Fortunato Baeza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Argentina.
