Narciso Sasoin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hashem Al Bahar made a huge save. U21 Argentina's Pastor Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hashem Al Bahar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Argentina's Narciso Sasoin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. U21 Argentina's Felipe Colazo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hashem Al Bahar but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Videl got free with Hashem Al Bahar in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Videl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hashem Al Bahar having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Sasoin got free with Hashem Al Bahar in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Julio Roca made a precise shot to the right of Hashem Al Bahar. U21 Saudi Arabia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Eshaq Al Harban made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Narciso Sasoin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hashem Al Bahar was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Sasoin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hashem Al Bahar saved U21 Saudi Arabia from getting behind. Julio Roca was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. U21 Saudi Arabia's Hashem Al Bahar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Roca in the 61st minute of play. Hashem Al Bahar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Sasoin in the 63rd minute of play. Hashem Al Bahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Roca, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Pastor Videl might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hashem Al Bahar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hashem Al Bahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When U21 Argentina's Benedicto Telesforo in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Telesforo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hashem Al Bahar having to make a save. Guillermo Sara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eshaq Al Harban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes U21 Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Telesforo. In the 84th match minute, U21 Saudi Arabia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramadan Al Muwail to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Telesforo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hashem Al Bahar saved U21 Saudi Arabia from getting behind. In the 86th minute U21 Argentina were awarded a corner. Gervasio Tercero went to the cornerflag to take it. U21 Argentina's Gervasio Tercero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hashem Al Bahar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When U21 Argentina's Benedicto Telesforo in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Saudi Arabia's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Saudi Arabia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Argentina.
