Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacques Van der Veken took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kacper Pionek made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jacques Van der Veken sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Poland's Kacper Pionek got control of the ball when Jacques Van der Veken tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Jacques Van der Veken notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Poland's Kacper Pionek. Kacper Pionek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Konrad Zdeb might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Van Lint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Zdeb ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute Konrad Zdeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Van Lint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Konrad Zdeb notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Belgium's Jannes Van Lint. Jannes Van Lint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was a penalty for Belgium! Jannes Van Lint went to the wrong direction when Leonard Kasperowicz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Poland's attentive Marek Huk managed to snatch the ball when Dylan Van Hoof made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute Konrad Zdeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Van Lint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kacper Pionek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo De Vleeschauwer's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Poland's Konrad Zdeb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jannes Van Lint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leon Dudek was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Poland's corner Leon Dudek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jannes Van Lint quite easily take care of the ball. Poland's Leon Dudek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Phillipe Van Kestbeek, made in the 44th minute of the game. Kenn Van Mellart was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Leon Dudek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Van Lint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
In the 59th minute, Konrad Zdeb fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jannes Van Lint, passed just outside the right post. Jannes Van Lint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Zdeb in the 62nd minute. Jacques Van der Veken might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kacper Pionek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Zdeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Konrad Zdeb might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jannes Van Lint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Zdeb ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Leonard Kasperowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannes Van Lint was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. With a little luck, Belgium's Jannes Van Lint got control of the ball when Konrad Zdeb tried to sneak it across the goal line. Konrad Zdeb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannes Van Lint having to make a save. Jannes Van Lint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Kasprzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Jannes Van Lint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Zdeb. Iwo Kasprzykowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jannes Van Lint was a little too slow when Konrad Zdeb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-5. Jannes Van Lint came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Poland's Iwo Kasprzykowski. But to his dismay, Iwo Kasprzykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When Konrad Zdeb came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Zdeb couldn't finish the play.
