Jamar Valencia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albania's Drino Lila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Dashkov in the 16th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Von Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albania's Drino Lila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Von Ramirez in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drino Lila saved Albania from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Von Ramirez put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Drino Lila. Jamar Valencia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristaq Jashellari's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 43 minutes of play, USA's Von Ramirez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drino Lila was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The supporters of Albania booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Aparicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albania's Drino Lila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Albania from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Albania's Drino Lila got control of the ball when Vladimir Dashkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Von Ramirez was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. A hard shot 67 in the game by Vladimir Dashkov from a close distance when the talented Drino Lila managed to make a qualified save. Albania's players were relieved. Drino Lila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Von Ramirez in the 70th minute. Vladimir Dashkov came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Drino Lila could save by the left post. Jamar Valencia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Driton Bespalla's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Von Ramirez scored 2-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drino Lila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Drino Lila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Von Ramirez went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. USA's Arturo Brewer was substituted for Rocco Hopkins. Drino Lila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Von Ramirez in the 81st minute. A collision led to Albania getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Driton Bespalla hit a great ball. Von Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Drino Lila made a huge save. Von Ramirez had several of the Albania's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-6 score and a disappointed Drino Lila as he didn't even see the shot coming. Driton Bespalla scored 3-6 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jamar Valencia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Drino Lila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Von Ramirez in the 95th minute. The Albania supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching USA's performance. The match ended with a win for USA.
