After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ferdinando Pierucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. USA's Mason McGraw was substituted for Myles Randall. USA made a substitution. Von Ramirez replaced Fernando Carrero. Aldo Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Frank Bassi from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Jamar Valencia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. USA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
