Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristofer Browne in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Burkett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Kristofer Browne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herbert Burkett quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Herbert Burkett made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Otto Copeland sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goalkeeper Herbert Burkett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Petty. In the 17th minute, U21 United States's Kristofer Browne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Burkett. Herbert Burkett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah Berg in the 22nd minute of play forced U21 United States's goalkeeper Loco Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goalkeeper Herbert Burkett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Copeland. Loco Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximus Maximus, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Copeland got free with Herbert Burkett in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mike Petty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Herbert Burkett made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, U21 United States's goal looked a bit too open when Refugio Gibbs came free, but Loco Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Mike Petty recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herbert Burkett. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximus Maximus was the one to do the kick off. Loco Higuita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximus Maximus went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When U21 United States's Otto Copeland in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
