The audience was convinced that Vihar Hrusanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaanus Oinak was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Madis Luuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavyan Dzhodzhov having to make a save. In the 10th match minute, U21 Estonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Hakk to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, U21 Bulgaria's Vihar Hrusanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaanus Oinak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vihar Hrusanov took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaanus Oinak. Jaanus Oinak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jaanus Oinak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihar Hrusanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Panayot Papukchiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaanus Oinak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes U21 Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Madis Luuse. U21 Estonia's Jaanus Oinak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihar Hrusanov in the 27th minute of play. Jaanus Oinak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vihar Hrusanov in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, U21 Estonia's Magnus Kask made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slavyan Dzhodzhov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Vollmer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Slavyan Dzhodzhov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Estonia. Jaanus Oinak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitko Seymenov in the 48th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Vihar Hrusanov sped through U21 Estonia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaanus Oinak. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Vihar Hrusanov made the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Vihar Hrusanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Estonia's Jaanus Oinak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When U21 Bulgaria's Vihar Hrusanov in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Estonia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Vihar Hrusanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Estonia's Jaanus Oinak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When U21 Bulgaria's Vihar Hrusanov in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66thth minute of the game Vihar Hrusanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Estonia's Jaanus Oinak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Bulgaria's Miho Hamar was substituted for Gruyo Arbov. Vitko Seymenov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, U21 Estonia's Rhesos Balouris got a free kick in the 72nd minute. U21 Estonia's Jaanus Oinak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panayot Papukchiev in the 73rd minute of play. Vihar Hrusanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaanus Oinak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihar Hrusanov in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vihar Hrusanov in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaanus Oinak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitko Seymenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Bulgaria walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
