Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) 3 minutes into the game, U21 Chile's Jonatan Palma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stano Kateržábek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, U21 Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Cresenciano Villarino came free, but Stano Kateržábek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Rudy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Stano Kateržábek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helmuth Rudy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Palma in the 10th minute of play forced U21 Slovakia's goalkeeper Stano Kateržábek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Slovakia's Stano Kateržábek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eber Villar in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Helmuth Rudy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stano Kateržábek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stano Kateržábek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Palma's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cresenciano Villarino in the 26th minute of play forced U21 Slovakia's goalkeeper Stano Kateržábek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Juan Jesus Betanzos. U21 Chile's Faustino Ward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobre Rano in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match U21 Slovakia got a corner. U21 Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dobre Rano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dobre Rano made a great header on U21 Slovakia's corner, it was just that U21 Chile's Faustino Ward managed to reach the ball for a save. When U21 Chile's Eber Villar in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. Faustino Ward was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Jozef Královič capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eber Villar's late challenge caught a U21 Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eber Villar helped the player get up and apologised. U21 Slovakia's Peter Takáč was substituted for Jozef Mitro. Eber Villar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When U21 Chile's Helmuth Rudy in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dobre Rano to strike the kick off in the second half. Eber Villar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Stano Kateržábek made a huge save. With a little luck, U21 Slovakia's Stano Kateržábek got control of the ball when Helmuth Rudy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cresenciano Villarino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The supporters of U21 Slovakia booed when U21 Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Prieto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Ward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobre Rano in the 77th minute of the match. With a little luck, U21 Slovakia's Stano Kateržábek got control of the ball when Markus Fanta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on U21 Chile's corner Juliano Curiñanco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stano Kateržábek quite easily take care of the ball. The U21 Chile fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when U21 Chile's Markus Fanta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, U21 Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Eber Villar came free, but Stano Kateržábek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes U21 Slovakia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliano Curiñanco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on U21 Chile's corner Juliano Curiñanco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stano Kateržábek quite easily take care of the ball. In the 93rd minute Markus Fanta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stano Kateržábek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tomáš Grman made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Ward. U21 Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. U21 Chile were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
