Edmund Kasprzykowski came out of the goal and Johnny Strömbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Kasprzykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Strömbom in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Stasio Limanowski hit a great ball. If Tommy Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Gadd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Kasprzykowski having to make a save. Edmund Kasprzykowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Gadd in the 31st minute. Edmund Kasprzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Gadd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Kosmatka in the 37th minute of the match. Tommy Gadd succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Tommy Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd match minute, U21 Sweden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Ahlén to maneuver through the defense. U21 Sweden's Peter Möllgren was substituted for Johnny Strömbom. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Stasio Limanowski with Filip Lux as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 81 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Bernt Hedvall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Ludwa. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Poland's Edmund Kasprzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf-Bertil Larsson in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Ralf-Bertil Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edmund Kasprzykowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sten Lustig might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Kasprzykowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Lustig ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Lustig in the 93rd minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Edmund Kasprzykowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Lustig in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Kasprzykowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grzegorz Okraszewski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 96th playminute. U21 Sweden were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of U21 Poland for a fine match.
