The audience thought a goal was coming when Dustin Mudra got free with Alain Kader in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halim Soltani made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Karim Souakri immediately put the ball in play. Ralf Beckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hameur Djamel in the 25th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, U21 Mz Country was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Soltani to maneuver through the defense. Dustin Mudra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Alain Kader skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to U21 Austria getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Peter Deckert hit a great ball. Alain Kader didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Austria's Dustin Mudra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ralf Beckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hameur Djamel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dustin Mudra managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Dustin Mudra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alain Kader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
