Dragoljub Despotovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Strudahl in the 8th minute of play. Isak Knaebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bekim Ribarski in the 11th minute of play. Miklos Molnár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dragoljub Despotovski made a huge save. Miklos Molnár's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragoljub Despotovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Miklos Molnár scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragoljub Despotovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Bekim Ribarski came free, but Isak Knaebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragoljub Despotovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Strudahl in the 27th minute of the match. Dragoljub Despotovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miklos Molnár in the 36th minute. Denmark's Mark Strudahl got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Macedonia's Dragoljub Despotovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Strudahl in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Bekim Ribarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Knaebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Macedonia booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Lyngskjold didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Macedonia's Sande Spasovski was substituted for Bekim Ribarski. Macedonia's Simon Lefkovski was substituted for Samir Andreevski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sande Spasovski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isak Knaebel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sande Spasovski in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dime Ivkovič who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Macedonia's corner Dime Ivkovič fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isak Knaebel quite easily take care of the ball. Dragoljub Despotovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklos Molnár, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dragoljub Despotovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Strudahl's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Villiam Theill went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Villiam Theill got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dragoljub Despotovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 71st minute Jacob Ohsbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoljub Despotovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Jacob Ohsbeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dragoljub Despotovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dime Ivkovič made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Georg Lyngskjold. In the 77th minute Zakarias Rasten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoljub Despotovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zakarias Rasten in the 83rd minute of play forced Macedonia's goalkeeper Dragoljub Despotovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Sande Spasovski came free, but Isak Knaebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Villiam Theill hit a great ball. Dragoljub Despotovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zakarias Rasten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoljub Despotovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hektor Eilert, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Denmark's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
