Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dany-Adams Raniers to make the kick off. With a little luck, Moldova's Dan Eremciuc got control of the ball when Louis Hoolemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jannes Van Lint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Toma's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Dan Eremciuc made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Louis Hoolemans sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Toma in the 69th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Jannes Van Lint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Ghenadie Platon came free, but Jannes Van Lint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Eremciuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dany-Adams Raniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Eremciuc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 90 played minutes Moldova got a freekick which was hit by Radu Plop. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgium's Ief Winnepenninck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dan Eremciuc. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. Belgium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
