Tallia Coya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Smeland having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Kenneth Smeland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peru were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Norway's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedicto Soterraña took the corner. Norway's Kenneth Smeland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Ramon in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Peru's Tallia Coya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenneth Smeland. Kenneth Smeland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Norway's Kenneth Smeland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Norway from getting a goal against them. Olaf Knutsen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Norway's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Jeffrey Ramon scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Smeland, making the score, 0-5. Kenneth Smeland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Intxixu Teja in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Peru got a corner. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
