But to his dismay, Eugen Gagiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, China's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Cămătaru came free, but 吕凡谦 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Lin in the 17th minute of play. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Petre Orescu with Claudiu Izbașa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 26 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ting Ning came free, but Mădălin Crainic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. China's attentive Shao De Bin managed to snatch the ball when Petre Orescu made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31stth minute of the game Shi Ting Ning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romania's Mădălin Crainic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 吕凡谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Cămătaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Eugen Gagiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but 吕凡谦 made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Gagiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 吕凡谦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Gagiu in the 51st minute of the match. China's 蒋桑青 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 吕凡谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Gagiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilian Ştefănică in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute of the game Petre Orescu made a throw-in which Claudiu Izbașa played forward. Romania's Claudiu Izbașa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. China's Ye Xun was substituted for Xu Xiong. The supporters of Romania booed when China was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Ting Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the China players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Romania.
