Dede Zamani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bugra Taha in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dede Zamani saved Indonesia from getting behind. Rio Hans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Necdet Ugras hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Turkey's Baha Durali got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Kutluay Yayalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turkey were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Indonesia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Necdet Ugras took the corner. The supporters of Indonesia booed when Turkey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eray Lacin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Rio Hans notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Turkey's Hayrettin Songun. Hayrettin Songun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anto Hasanuddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Hayrettin Songun made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Turkey's Kutluay Yayalp broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Indonesia's Kompos Oktavianus got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bulek Arbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrettin Songun having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Bulek Arbi shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Turkey's Hayrettin Songun to catch but Bulek Arbi was lucky. It became 3-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Indonesia's Kamarudin Sidabutar was substituted for Anto Hasanuddin. In the 73rd minute of the match Turkey got a corner. Indonesia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Necdet Ugras ran over to the corner to take the kick. Necdet Ugras made a great header on Turkey's corner, it was just that Indonesia's Dede Zamani managed to reach the ball for a save. Bugra Taha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Indonesia made a substitution. Imran Chaniago replaced Pandapotan Reza. Hayrettin Songun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Hans in the 82nd minute of the match. Turkey's Kutluay Yayalp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Indonesia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ari Chaniago during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the match, Turkey's Necdet Ugras broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 88th minute of the match Sipiongot Piliang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayrettin Songun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 95 played minutes Indonesia got a freekick which was hit by Imran Chaniago. A collision led to Turkey getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bugra Taha hit a great ball.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Turkey fans cheered their team off the field, for while Indonesia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
