When Gigi Chificeac fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Roma's protests and gave Gigi Chificeac a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Chificeac. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Damian Rzeszutek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Askelöf hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Damian Rzeszutek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Brillante having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Della Francesca in the 27th minute of play forced MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s goalkeeper Napoleon Mocko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Mocko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alvaro Sforza could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Napoleon Mocko however easily saved by the left post. Napoleon Mocko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 37th minute. Kristian Aarstad made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damian Rzeszutek. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Rzeszutek in the 40th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Sforza made a kick off. Javier Della Francesca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Napoleon Mocko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Napoleon Mocko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sforza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Starogardzki hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Dejo in the 66th minute of play. Napoleon Mocko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Horia Nasta got a free kick in the 71st minute. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristian Aarstad in the 73rd minute. Gigi Chificeac hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Konstanty Dejo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Brillante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 89th minute, Anıl Akdoruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Konstanty Dejo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristoforo Brillante. Konstanty Dejo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The AC Roma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
