When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ioan Agachi to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Hassan Yusuf from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Cristobal Estavan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mattias Wallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Agachi in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Alf Björk could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Cristobal Estavan however easily saved by the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioan Agachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Ioan Agachi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. Blue Angels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Agachi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Blue Angels's Sebastian Hausner was substituted for Oscar Lindström. Blue Angels made a substitution. Ted Björk replaced Robin Söder. Blue Angels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aleksandar Ivanov in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Newell´s had won after a very even match.
