Jairo de Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Villaverde Celeste Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Villaverde Celeste Clube's Jairo de Azevedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Orlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 54th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo de Azevedo came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Casimiro Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as El Fortín de Floresta's Delmar Manex slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nenko Reza. That made the score 1-1 after 68 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, El Fortín de Floresta's Nenko Reza threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmar Manex, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zeledon Vachon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Villaverde Celeste Clube getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zeledon Vachon hit a great ball. El Fortín de Floresta's Lucio Stanislao was substituted for Desiderio Brais. After 72 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Vachon. 73 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Selmo. Lucio Stanislao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nenko Reza made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Stanislao got free with Nenko Reza in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Manex in the 95th minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
