Ramon Agurto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatole Le Lay in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Herbert Mindykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Totín Garcia De Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiu Zhi having to make a save. When Flamengo de San Blás's Totín Garcia De Paredes in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anatole Le Lay to make the kick off. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Cedeño in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Flamengo de San Blás were awarded a corner. Paulo-Henrique Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Flamengo de San Blás getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gabriel Chavez hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Anatole Le Lay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Agurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herbert Mindykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flamengo de San Blás players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SILMONT.
