Jaroslaw Szende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Kovtun having to interfere. Mai Li Cheng did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Curtis Gerrard 29 minutes into the match. Artem Kovtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Szende in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Mai Li Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. True storY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mai Li Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Meninges FC's goalkeeper Curtis Gerrard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mai Li Cheng.
