In the 24th minute, Bruno Marceau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Green Madness's Marcelino Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Green Madness from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abraham Beauval stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Marceau in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Luka Baudoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Bruno Marceau put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelino Flor. 61 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Beauval came free, but Marcelino Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Britto in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christophe Pourre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Pierre Malet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Farges in the 82nd minute of play forced Green Madness's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Pourre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry Peysson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Étienne Cubizolles took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Christophe Pourre to make any attempt to save it. In the 88th minute, John-Paul Marquant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christophe Pourre was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 94th minute Éluard Plantade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Pourre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Marquant in the 96th minute of the match. France walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
