In the 3rd match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Luty to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Tarada got a corner. 1909 Tarnovia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Wielowiejski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard and well directed shot from Adam Wielowiejski led 6 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. 1909 Tarnovia's Victor Curea became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Victor Curea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 11th minute of the match. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Grocholski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 17th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1909 Tarnovia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zdzislaw Biraga in the 18th minute. The corner led 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrick Zeier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tarada's zone, Zenon Hetman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrick Zeier came out of the goal and Zenon Hetman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarada's Henrick Zeier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tarada from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 29th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Wielowiejski took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Curea. Victor Curea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Prosper Vandamme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Henrick Zeier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 42 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Zdzislaw Biraga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrick Zeier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Aarflot came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prosper Vandamme to strike the kick off in the second half. Zdzislaw Biraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Prosper Vandamme. In the 60th minute 1909 Tarnovia were awarded a corner. Zdzislaw Biraga went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Tarada defense, Jerzy Grocholski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrick Zeier. The Tarada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrick Zeier should have stopped the shot. Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 68th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarada's goalie prevented a goal. After 72 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Ron Migneault. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Migneault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Vandamme in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrick Zeier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 79th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Victor Curea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Hengemühl. After 82 minutes of play, 1909 Tarnovia's Jerzy Grocholski made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrick Zeier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prosper Vandamme in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Aarflot in the 91st minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Victor Curea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jochen Schaer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Prosper Vandamme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarada's Henrick Zeier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes, Ron Migneault mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarada and the 1909 Tarnovia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tarada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
