The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jamal Roye scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boruc Furgal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. De-Jesús Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Goethe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Friesenwerdermoor's Alf Plump got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kania Gostyń's Adam Wnukowski tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Wiktor Falkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boruc Furgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Roye in the 16th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Prospero Goethe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Herbert Flöge in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kania Gostyń's Norbert Kostka. In the 33rd minute Lennard Rossmanith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Furgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Falkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Prospero Goethe made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Lennard Rossmanith came free, but Boruc Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Wiktor Falkiewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Prospero Goethe however easily saved by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's Wiktor Falkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Goethe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Goethe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamal Roye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Friesenwerdermoor's Tom Gerster slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boruc Furgal. That made the score 1-2 after 51 minutes of play. Ingemar Mense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Hermann Luscher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Friesenwerdermoor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann Luscher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boruc Furgal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennard Rossmanith went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Wnukowski in the 63rd minute of play. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pleban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Adam Wnukowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Prospero Goethe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Patryk Popowicz replaced Remigiusz Kazanowski. Friesenwerdermoor's Pekin Energin was substituted for Lennard Rossmanith. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Alfred Lech replaced Adam Wnukowski. Severiano Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
