The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Osvaldo Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Lu Zhen Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandu Mândrilă in the 14th minute. In the 14th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sesuldo Roque to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Guisla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Lu Zhen Sheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lu Zhen Sheng was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Sandu Mândrilă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandu Mândrilă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zuberoa Artiaga hit a great ball. Zuberoa Artiaga made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Héctor Adomaitis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 35th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sandu Mândrilă came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Mândrilă couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Zuberoa Artiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Michael Guisla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Zuberoa Artiaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the DREAM TEAM WORLD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Zuberoa Artiaga. Zé Roberto Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Zapolski went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half DREAM TEAM WORLD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Constantijn De Hond made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Horea Mihoc. DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Playa Malvín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fabiano Castro took the corner. Horea Mihoc made a great header on DREAM TEAM WORLD's corner, it was just that Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira managed to reach the ball for a save. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sesuldo Roque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Zapolski. 72 minutes into the game, Fausto Jayaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Malvín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DREAM TEAM WORLD the free kick. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Gonzalo Castro replaced Sesuldo Roque. The corner ended in Luiz Fabiano Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Lessard came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, André Luís Lessard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Lessard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Josu Onez in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Betinho de Queirós. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Michael Guisla hit a great ball. After 95th play minutes André Luís Lessard shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Zé Roberto Teixeira and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DREAM TEAM WORLD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
