Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Simbo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Tello AFC were awarded a corner. Abel Lain went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Smart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boleslaw Sidorowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tincho Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Cordearo in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mías Khalifa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Uriel Cordearo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Tello AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Cordearo couldn't finish the play. Simbo FC's Natasha Jain was substituted for Anselmo Leocadio. Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán was substituted for Tincho Palermo. In the 58thth minute of the game Miliano Sacristán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 68 minutes of play, Tello AFC's Abel Lain made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tello AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
