Mías Khalifa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustino Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Sidorowicz in the 29th minute of play. Pastor Nofre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mías Khalifa having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Pastor Nofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Khalifa came out of the goal and Pastor Nofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Sancho in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Sidorowicz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Pello saved Tello AFC from getting behind. Tello AFC's Dalmacio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. Nestor Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Cordearo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Tello AFC booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Ostrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Emanuel Vollens got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Sancho came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sabri Ravelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dalmacio Pello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Unax in the 67th minute of play. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Abel Lain with Pastor Nofre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Simbo FC's Nestor Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmacio Pello. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. In the 79th minute Pastor Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Pello made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Miliano Sacristán sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Sacristán came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Simbo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Simbo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
